Carol A. Poyle (nee: Luman), 75 years of age, and a resident of Lorain, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, January 29, 2018 at New Life Hospice Residential Center in Lorain.
Born August 7, 1942 in Lorain, Carol was a lifetime resident of her town of birth.
Her primary focus in life was that of being a homemaker to her husband and five children. Carol enjoyed the outdoors which included bird watching and camping with her family. She was an active member of Tower Blvd Baptist Church in Lorain where she ministered as a pianist and organist.
Survivors include her sons Ronald E. Poyle Jr., (Cheryl) of South Amherst, Robert S. Poyle (Jacqueline), Ross A. Poyle (Debbie), and Brian K. Poyle (Debbie) all of Lorain; her daughter Marcia C. Hennessee (Jeff) of Lorain; grandchildren Brittany Poyle, Courtney Farabaugh (Greg), Corey Hennessee, Matt Poyle, Michael Poyle, Caitlyn Hennessee, Jessaline Rippe (Raven), and Tony Poyle; four great grandchildren; her brothers Chester Luman (Evie) of Lorain, Nicholas Luman (Sharon) of Florida; Timothy Luman of South Amherst, Philip Luman (Carol) of North Carolina and Gregory Luman (Karen) of Lorain; sisters Barbara Kimberly (Jeff) of Norwalk, Debra Schon of Mississippi, Lynette Witter of Elyria, and Tammy Hainline, of Texas.
She was preceded in death by her husband of fifty-three years Ronald E. Poyle, Sr. on April 26, 2014; her brother David Luman; and her parents Chester C. And Mary Elizabeth Luman (nee: Wortman).
Friends may call Thursday Feb. 1, 2017, from 4 until 8 p.m. at Tower Blvd Baptist Church, 1313 Tower Blvd, Lorain, Ohio 44053. Funeral services will be held Friday, Feb. 2, 11:00 a.m. at the Church. The Rev. Gary Dorsey will officiate. Burial will follow at Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Amherst, Ohio.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Tower Blvd Baptist Church, 1313 Tower Blvd, Lorain, Ohio 44053.
