Edith Mae Pettry-Dillon (nee: Wiley) was born on December 4, 1925, in Hazy, WV. In her final days, she talked about going home to the Lord and getting her "new body". She accomplished this goal at 5:44 p.m. on Christmas Day surrounded by her loved ones. She was an active member of Broadway Assembly where she was a Sunday School teacher for many years. She loved shopping and cooking for her family.

Survivors include her sons Bob and Rosie Pettry of Amherst; Dennis and Patricia Pettry of Vermilion; her daughters Sharon and Rodger Griffith of Amherst; Brenda and Sheridan Smith of Waynesburg, PA; 13 grandchildren; and 29 great grandchildren. 

Edith was preceded in death by her 1st husband Byrd C. Pettry; her 2nd husband Doyle Dillon; her grandson Dennis Pettry, Jr.; her sisters Ethel Woody, Rena Castle, Sandra Bell, and Hazel Chandler; and her parents Tug and Effie Wiley (nee: Reed).

Friends may call Thursday, December 28, 2017 from 11 a.m. until the time of the service at 1 p.m. at Broadway Assembly Church, 5495 Broadway Ave., Lorain OH 44052. The Rev. Matt Jones will officiate. Burial will follow at Ridgehill Memorial Park, Amherst Twp.,
