Jeffery Allen "Tuck" Tucker, Sr., 58, found peace and went to his eternal home after multiple battles with cancer, in the early hours of Wednesday, April 5th 2017.
Jeff was born on December 13, 1958 in Lodi, Ohio to the loving parents, Harold F. and Shirley (née Norris) Tucker (both deceased). He will be desperately loved and missed by his wife Roberta "Bird" Tucker; children, Shannon, Roy (Tricia), Sandra (Shelly), Christina (David), Yvonna (Austin), Jeffery (Libby), Michelle (Will), Tyler (Carissa); siblings, Sue Carver, Jon Tucker, twin brothers Harold and Gerald Tucker, and Pam Tucker; 26 grandchildren, three great grandchildren and two fur babies, Sarge and Cooper.
Jeff lived most of his life in Lorain. Besides being a hardworking husband, father and provider, he loved spending time with his wife and family and was known for keeping family traditions alive. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, yard sales, flea markets and building up his family home. Everyone who knew him would say that he was all heart. "A very kind, loving, generous, brave and selfless man."
A mentor to many, there is no one he would not help. The most important people in his life were his grandchildren. They are his legacy.
His wife and children will receive family and friends on Monday, April 10th from 4 to 8 pm at Richard J. Reidy Funeral Home 1783 East 31st Street, South Lorain. Services will be held Tuesday, April 11th at 11 am in the funeral home officiated by Pastor Jim Senz. A procession will follow to Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Amherst Township.
