Stephanie A. Horvatich, 64, of Sheffield Village, passed away at the Cleveland Clinic Avon Hospital on the evening of Wednesday, December 28, 2016 following an extended illness. Born in Lorain on February 18, 1952, Stephanie was a 1970 graduate of Brookside High School. She went on to receive her Bachelor's Degree from Bluffton College in 1974 and later, her Master's Degree in Social Work from Case Western Reserve University.

For the past 25 years, Stephanie had been employed as a CNC Programmer Trainer for R.T.S.I. in Solon. Previously, she had served as a social worker with the Cuyahoga County Bureau of Job and Family Services working with abused children. She had also formerly served as a group home supervisor for the Murray Ridge Center.

Stephanie was a gifted musician and played the cello with the North Coast Symphony. She was also a gourmet cook who displayed a passion for the arts, as well as nature and world pottery.

She is survived by her brother, Frank D. Horvatich III of LaGrange; sister, Frances (Gregory) Blank of Brighton Township; nephew, Nicholas Blank of Brighton Township; niece, Allison (Tim) Donel of Pickerington, Ohio; grand-nephew, James Donel; grand-niece, Nora Donel, both also of Pickerington; cousin, Maryann Orlinski of Columbus and uncle, Joseph (Mary Ellen) Woloszanski residing in Delaware.

Stephanie was preceded in death by her father, Frank D. Horvatich II in 1999. Stephanie's mother Stella Horvatich (nee Woloszanski) passed away on January 22, 2018.
