Congratulations to Our Ridge Hill Scholarship Recipients!
This year, Ridge Hill Memorial Park offered scholarships for the first time. Recipients received an award of $1,000 each. Applicants had to be high school seniors attending school in Lorain County and submit an essay detailing their plans for the future, the impact they have made on the community, and how the scholarship would benefit them. We had planned on awarding 5 scholarships. The response was truly amazing! We received many more applicants than we ever anticipated. In the end, it was just too hard to make 5 selections. So, we made 6!
Congratulations to Isaac Bowsher, Alayna Kasper, Isaac Nagy, Madelyn Fada, Nicholas Adams, and Jocelyn Eldemire! Your futures are bright, you’ve brought great things to your community, and everyone at Ridge Hill Memorial Park is proud of you!
To all of those who were not selected this time around, we wish you great success. It was extremely difficult for us to make these selections. We thank everyone who took the time to submit an application for the scholarship. You will all do great things!
